Axelent X-Guard machine guards have been developed to meet all the requirements for a functional machine guard - the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) and the corresponding Finnish Machinery Regulation (VNa 400/2008) for fixed guards.

Mesh size 30 x 50 mm, with a minimum safety distance of 200 mm from the machine.
The mesh elements are attached to the X-Guard columns using the supplied Click quick-release fasteners. Removing the element from the pole is quick and easy thanks to the separate X-Key. This system is suitable for both 50x50 and 70x70 poles. The mesh element can be tailored precisely to the needs of the site with vertical or horizontal cutting packages. This makes installation particularly flexible and easy in all situations.
NOTE: Poles must be ordered separately.
Working environment risks to be taken into account:
- Machine and equipment guards prevent parts of the human body from getting too close to moving parts of the machine.
- The guards must have a very strong supporting structure in order to be safe.
- During production, visibility must be maintained: guards must be positioned in such a way that they do not constitute an obstacle.
- The hazards of the protected area can be further highlighted by the use of attention colours.
- Special tools are needed to remove the guards so that they cannot be moved without them.
- The escape routes and emergency switches in the protected area must be known to the users.
