Which wheels should you choose for your forklift?

• Choosing the right wheels is primarily determined by the platform on which the forklift will be used. For outdoor load handling, nylon wheels should be chosen. Nylon is a tough material and will not pick up stones or gravel.
• For indoor use, we recommend polyurethane wheels. Polyurethane is a quiet material and wheels made of polyurethane will run smoothly on uneven floors, even when carrying heavy loads.
• In addition, the forks are available with either single or caster wheels. We recommend single wheels for flat surfaces and lighter loads. Axle wheels, on the other hand, are suitable for use when it is necessary to drive over thresholds and ramps. With caster wheels, the weight is distributed over more wheels, so they are more stable and wear less on the floor.
